土耳其民眾昨日開始無法查看《維基百科》，外界推測疑似和「網路限令」有關，今日又傳出大砍將近4000名公務員，同時還禁播電視約會節目。有媒體指稱，自從去年7月政變失敗後，總統艾爾多安（Recep Tayyip Erdo?an）領導的政府不斷整肅「潛在威脅」。
綜合外媒報導，土耳其政府今天發佈命令，將解聘3974名公務員，其中超過1000人任職司法部、1000多人來自軍方，另有將近500名學者遭到革職。另外，還禁止在土國擁有高人氣的電視約會節目。
據悉，《維基》被視為助長恐怖主義遭封鎖後，當地民眾必須「翻牆」才能在土國境內訪問《維基》，其他社群媒體則維持正常運作。網路監督組織「The Turkey Blocks」表示，網路服務供應商通常會在政府行政命令之前，事先封鎖某些「被點名的網站」，至於土耳其資訊與通訊科技局處也坦承，「根據第5651號法律，政府有權對《維基》採取行政措施。」
土耳其自從去年7月15日政變未遂後，已實施緊急狀態近9個月，這期間政府逮捕4萬7000人，開除超過1萬名公務員，無視國際社會的人權警告持續大規模整肅，也讓外界質疑根本是在替艾爾多安的極權專政鋪路。
